Paper Pumpkin April 2020

Hello Crafty Friends

How is your crafting going during this crazy Civid-19 pandemic?  I hope you are all staying healthy and safe!

I am spending my time making more cards from my April 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit by Stampin' Up!  The theme of this kit was Family.  What a perfect name for a card kit when all we can do is spend time with our immediate family and send cards to the rest of our loved ones.

The first two cards shown here are the ideas that were given in the kit directions.  Aren't they awesome!  I love the little birds and butterflies.

This card is what I came up with to use the stamps and leftover kit items. I really love the pink cherry blossoms that we see this time of year and so that is what I tried to recreate on a card.  I used little birds, ribbon, pearls, sentiment label, left over green from the die cuts (for the ground) and the ink from the kit.  From my stash I used Whisper White CS, Flirty Flamingo & Soft Suede Inks, and Shade Spruce Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the 6x6 Regals DSP.  I love how it turned out.  I am going to give this special card to my amazing honey buns because I don't know what I would do with out that man, especially right now.

The May 2020 kit will ship on or after May 11 and is only available to purchase until May 10th so hurry and get yours today.  Each kit is all inclusive and with your first kit you receive an acrylic block so you can do the stamping.  I can't wait to use the stamps to make more cards.  I saw an idea where the tree leaves were used as a pile of fall leaves.  Isn't that so fun.

In your first kit you will even get an acrylic block so you can use the stamps. Wow everything you need to get creative and make something. And I think this is what is needed during this crazy corona time, to get creative.

Paper Pumpkin is a subscription kit that is always a surprise even to Stampin Up Demonstrators (distributors). Every once in awhile the mix up the projects and it might be a kit to make tags or packaging treats or another paper crafted project. Whatever the project you get everything you need to make it. The ordering time is the 11th to the 10th of the month you will receive the kit. I had so much fun making these cute birthday cards. And it was at a perfect time too as all my girls birthdays were during that week. 🎉 I like the kit so much that I decided to sign up for a 6 month subscription. In a few more days I will get the April 2020 kit which all I know about is that it is Family themed. 👍🏻👏🏻 Here is the video giving us clues to what we get.
